1) Museum of  Medicine History,  University La Sapienza, Viale Università 34 / A: In Section IX we can see a reconstruction of an antique alchemical atelier.
2) Santa Maria degli Angeli, Via Cernaia, 9: Inside there is an astronomical sundial


3) Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore: there is “magical square of Sator”
4) Porta Magica (Magical door), Giardini di Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II: on the door, there are  alchemical symbols engraved that  could possibly reveal  the secret of the philosophy stone.
5) Santa Croce in Gerusalemme: in front of this church, Sylvester II, so called “ the wizard pope” ,died in 1003.
6) San Giovanni in Laterano: in this church still stands the tomb of pope Sylvester II
7) Basilica dei SS. Quattro Coronati: this basilica lies between the Colosseum and Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano: In the past it was a place of Masonic initiations
8) Basilica di San Clemente: in the basement of the church there is one of the most beautiful mithraeums of Rome and Italy. Other important mithraeums are to be found in the basement of Palazzo Barberini, under the Church of Santa Prisca and in the gallery connecting Circus Maximus at Piazza Bocca della Verita 16 / A
9) Anfiteatro Flavio (Coliseum): in 2007 it was elected  one of the seven wonders of the modern world .

 

10) Arco di Tito: this arch is placed on the northern slopes of the Palatine Hill. There is an engraving of Titus, who is returning victorious from Jerusalem. Among the treasures brought from the holy land, we can recognize  a Jewish menorah
11) Via dei Fori Imperiali: south-east of Augustus forum stand  the remains of the Temple of Peace, where the Romans kept their treasures collected during the battle campaigns abroad. It is believed that one of the possible treasures could be the “Ark of the Covenant”, possibly brought by Titus after Jerusalem’s conquest in  71 AD.  Nearby is the area of the Roman Forum, which close to the Palatine Hill, the Constantine Arch and the Flavian Amphitheatre.
12) Musei Capitolini, Piazza del Campidoglio, 1: in this museum there are unique and beautiful findings, dating back to Roman and Greek  times .
13) Vittoriano and Altare della Patria: This huge masonic monumenti s  inspired by the ancient Altar of Pergamon. It is located next to  Trajan's Column
14) Pantheon, Piazza della Rotonda:  it was meant  to be a pagan temple and therefore  dedicated to all deities. This building has a strong link with Masons.
15) Church of St. Ivo, Corso Rinascimento 40:  this Church shows similarities with “ chiesa della Maddalena”in Venice. Both buildings  have  hexagonal plant, and in both we find the writing “ Wisdom built itself a house”.  It is another alchemic building.
16) San Silvestro in capite: among the relics in the church, there is also the head of St. John the Baptist.
17) Church of San Lorenzo in Lucina, Via in Lucina 16: here there is a statue holding a cup on its left hand. This could be a reference to the Grail.  

 

18) Museum Anime del Purgatorio at the Chiesa del Sacro Cuore del Suffragio, Lungotevere Prati 12: Here are some interesting findings of the existence of  afterlife.
19) Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Adriana: In this place lived his last years  the famous alchemist Francesco Giuseppe Borri, as well as other alchemists and magicians imprisoned by the Church
20) Basilica di San Pietro:  the basement of the basilica, the center of Christianity, contains the body of  saint Peter who was the founder of the Catholic Religion.
21) Museo Storico nazionale dell’arte Sanitaria (medical historical museum), Lungotevere in Sassia 3: here we find a reproduction of an alchemical laboratory of the sixteenth century
22) Palazzo Corsini, Via della Lungara 10: alchemists used to work there. in the past,this was an  alchemy atelier.
23) Palazzo Falconieri, Via Giulia 1: there are many representations of hermetic symbols in its frescoes.

24) Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere; here we find the symbol of “ labyrinth”
25) Pyramid, Piazzale Ostiense: this pyramid is dated  first century BC. The building was built-in the Aurelian Walls
26) Palazzo Giustiniani, Via di San Pancrazio 8:this palace is the roman Mason  headquarter  of the Grand Orient Italy.
27) Palazzo Vitelleschi, Via San Nicola de 'Cesarini 3: this palace is the italian headquarter  of Grand Lodge of Italy of the A.F.& A.M. (Antient Free and Accepted Masons) - Obedience of Jesus Square
